These terms apply when we build a website for you. Your written quote says what we build, what it costs and when it is finished. These terms cover the rest.
You, the client, and Webessy Studios, a web studio in Bengaluru, India, run by its founder, Narendra R.

First we talk, on a call or on WhatsApp. It costs you nothing.
Within two days you get a written quote, also free. It has everything in it: what we are building, what is included, anything extra you chose, one final number, and the date it will be finished.
That number does not change later. Nothing gets added to your bill. Your date is in your quote: we give it to you in writing and we do not move it.
Prices on this website are starting prices: Starter from ₹6,499, Business from ₹9,999 and Advanced from ₹18,499. Boss has no starting price: we talk scope and ideas directly. Your price is the number in your quote.
If you ask for something new once your quote is agreed, we tell you in writing what it costs and whether it moves your date, before we start on it. Nothing is added unless you say yes.
If a payment is late, the work waits for it, and your date moves by the same number of days.
The number in your quote is the total you pay. If GST applies to your project, it is already included in that number, and your quote shows it.
Send your content while we plan, not after: photos, logo, menu, prices, anything you already have. What you have decides how the site is built. We tell you what is usable, what needs reshooting and what we can fix ourselves.
Your date starts when your content arrives.
If your content arrives late, your date moves by the same number of days. If it still has not arrived 60 days after we first ask for it, we may stop the project (see If a project stops).
Before anyone else sees it, you get a private link to the real site, working, on your phone and your laptop. Your plan includes rounds of changes: send one clear list at a time.
Every plan includes three rounds of changes before launch. A round is one list, sent together. If you need more rounds, we tell you what they cost first, and add them only if you say yes.
Your site goes on your own domain, like yourbusiness.com, and it belongs to you. You pay for the domain directly, in your own name. We handle the whole setup, and we get your first year at a discount.
You renew the domain each year, directly and in your own name, so it never depends on us.
Hosting works the same way: the account is in your name, and you pay the hosting company directly. We set it up and put your site on it.
With the final payment you get everything: the files, the accounts, the logins. All in your name. If you ever want to work with someone else, nothing is locked and nothing is held.
Once you have paid in full, the design and the code made for your site are yours. Parts made by others, such as fonts, code libraries and stock photos, stay under their makers’ licences: we only use ones that let you use them on your site. We may still use our own general tools and know-how in other work.
We may show your finished site as an example of our work, on this website and on social media. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we won’t.
Every build comes with 45 days of free changes after launch. Text, photos, prices, hours: anything that is not quite how you pictured it. No extra invoice.
These are changes to what we built. New pages and new features are not included: we quote them first, like anything new (see Your quote).
Anything broken stays free forever. If it breaks, it was ours to fix.
Broken means something we built stops working the way it did at launch: a link, a form, a page that will not load, a layout that falls apart on a phone. It does not cover problems caused by changes someone else makes to your site, or by outside services, such as your hosting, your domain or WhatsApp, changing or stopping. We can fix those too, quoted first.
After the 45 days, Care is ₹699 per month. Optional. Cancel anytime. It covers monthly checks, backups, content updates and small fixes.
Care is paid monthly, in advance, by UPI or bank transfer, or by PayPal if you are outside India. To cancel, send us a message by email or WhatsApp: Care stops at the end of the month you have paid for, with no fee.
Content updates and small fixes cover up to one hour of work each month. Time you don’t use doesn’t carry over. Anything bigger, we quote first.
The 25% advance pays for the planning, design and writing that start straight away, so it is not refunded once the work has started. Later payments pay for work already done, so they are not refunded either.
If we cannot finish your project for a reason on our side, we refund what you paid for the work we have not done.
You can stop a project at any time: tell us by email or WhatsApp. What you have paid is not refunded (see Refunds), and nothing more is due, except a payment that had already fallen due. Once that is settled, we hand over everything we have built so far.
We may stop a project on the same terms, after telling you in writing, if your content still has not arrived 60 days after we first asked for it, or a payment is more than 60 days late.
If we have to stop a project for any other reason, we hand over everything we have built so far, and refund what you paid for the work we have not done.
We fix what is ours to fix (see Anything broken). Beyond that, the most we can be held responsible for is what you paid us for the work in question. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profit, or for problems caused by outside services or by changes made by others. Nothing here limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we ever disagree, we will first try to settle it by talking. If that does not settle it, only the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, can decide it.
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. A project keeps the version that applied on the day you accepted its quote, until it is finished, its 45 days included. For Care, we tell you about a change at least a month before it applies, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
